Today's stuff

Today has been a good day.  Mike came over unexpectedly which was nice.   The first few hours were as usual housework and tidying up.  Then Oliver took a trip down to the Willowbrook Centre to look at Car Phone Warehouse.  I am able to upgrade my phone tomorrow and wanted to check out a few handsets.  I really like the Samsung Note, it's very big, some where between a phone and a tablet, but I think the screen is amazing.  We shall see.

We then popped into the Library to return some books that we've had since May 2011!! Glad we finally got round to doing that.  Not sure how it happened that we never returned them before.

When we got home, I made Mike a bacon and egg sandwich, and then we all mooched around in bed for a few hours.  Oliver's dad came to collect Oliver about 5pm.  Mike's gone off to work, and now I am feeling a bit lost.  Oliver hasn't been to his dads for a few weeks, so having nothing to do, without Olly seems a bit odd. I am going to cook some sausages that Mike's mum bought for us and watch a film I think.

I really can't wait for tomorrow to get my new phone!

My day today

Well today has not been a bad day.  It's been quite busy at work, there's never enough hours in the day.  I attended the last of a series of Excel sessions today which was very interesting and useful, we learnt about charts and practices Vlookups and other formula's.

I am glad its the weekend, I am especially looking forward to Sunday because I finally get to upgrade my phone - I am thinking of getting a HTC Sensation XL.  Or Samsung Galaxy S2, or possibly an iPhone, but to be honest I think I want one with a massive screen, and Iphone can't deliver that.

I really think that I need to start going back to the gym.  Oliver is at his dads tonight so perhaps I should make myself go tomorrow evening.  It's just it is sooo cold and I know I will just want to snuggle on the sofa in the warm!!

Mike's mum bought Ollie a jumper, from John Lewis, but it was in a charity shop, but it so nice, it's brown and he is going to wear it tomorrow, Mike's mum has already washed it.  It's very soft.

Ollie and I had a lovely evening, cuddled on the sofa watching Justin's house, and then I read him the 'Tailor of Gloucester' which is a Beatrix Potter book I had when I was a little girl.

I had some soup (Cream of tomato) with a bit of cheese, and toast and butter, one of my favourite meals.

I am going to cuddle down on sofa now and try to get warm, its just sooo cold!

Night Night!

My first little post about my day

Good evening, and welcome to my new blog, which is about my daily thoughts and activities.

My name is Isabella, I'm 29 years old.  I have a delightful little boy called Oliver, and I am engaged to Mikey.  I work as team leader in a contact centre; an industry that I have kind of fallen into, rather than it being my life long ambition or anything.  So what was my life time ambition?  That I couldn't really tell you.  I'd never had a clear idea of what I wanted to become, other than really, to have a family of my own.  My life path, to have a child, has been achieved, and he's my angel.  It's not complete though, now I've finally met my soul mate, getting married and having a child of our own will complete my inner happiness, and for all the future and things to come I cannot wait.

I've had some awful times in the last few years, I really have, but one of the rules for happiness is 'To give up your personal history, and don't be a victim of it'.  What's been and gone, has really gone, despite the memories, you have to move on, you can't live in the past, you have to look towards the future.  Life's too short.

Today I have been out with Mikey and Oliver, we have been to Bedminster to look at how much we could get for some unwanted Gold.  We went to various Gold Buyers, and had quotes between £180 and £270.  Amazing how the price of Gold has increased so much.

We also had a breakfast for lunch in one of the cafe's which was surprisingly delicious.  Oliver had chicken nuggets and chips, however he didn't actually eat the nuggets.  He wanted my toast with butter, and sausage instead.... Mikey and I were consistent though, and Oliver did eat all his chips in the end.

We bumped into Mikey's ex's nan in the cafe, which was a little confusing for me, as I didn't know who she was at all, I thought she may have been one of Mike's aunties.  I really didn't have a clue who she was, just assumed it was one of Mike's relatives.  It through me because she knew who I was and said hello to Oliver.  Ah well.

In Cash Converters I saw a delightful little violin!  I wanted to buy it for Olly, it was £40 I don't know if that's a good price or not really.

Oh, of course, the main reason we were in the South of Bristol today, was because Mikey had one of his sebaceous cysts cut out of his head!  He has about three or four of these lumpy bumps on his head, and they are all coming out over the next few months.   I am sure he is very pleased that one has gone, and he often felt pressure headaches derived from the lumps.

I'm feeling so full up, after the fried breakfast, and I just had some pasta for tea.  Mikey has gone back to work tonight.  I don't know how he does it, working nights, but I suppose he is used to it.

I'm so excited about planning our wedding.  Although it's not till Aug 2013, we are getting the venue sorted, but after that we can kind of relax about it, for another 6 months.  I really am so happy, and I guess it's about time.

Well; I think I will go up to bed in a while, it's only 8.21pm, but when Mikey stays, I have such late nights, and I really do feel tired.  Work tomorrow, and I have so much to catch up with.  It's been so cold today, I really must buy some gloves.

I have already made my sandwiches for tomorrow.  I have to stop spending money and save save save now!  We have a holiday and a wedding to save for!

Good night!
